Social responsibility of business

Initially business is created to generate profit for its owners and make them wealthy. No matter what kind of industry business is operating, it is doing it in society, and it cannot exist without it. After some time, business becomes member of the society, and its goal becomes more than just earn income.

The purpose of the entrepreneur is to make life of the society happier and easier. It must provide high quality goods and services for the customers. Set high standards for its performance, make sure that clients are benefiting from consuming their products and they are happy.

Business is responsible to support people who are working for the company and helps to keep it running. As a return for the loyalty that staff members are expressing employer must pay well deserved compensation, provide all the necessary tools that workers need. Working conditions supposed to be safe and comfortable for everyone to complete their task effectively and on time. In case there is a new member of the team, proper welcoming process must be conducted which includes education, introduction, and smooth enrollment to the working routine. As an example, provide free meals in the morning, so workers will not rush to have a breakfast on the go while they are trying to get to office.

Entrepreneurs must give back to the society for allowing them to work and generate profit. Share some portion of the income and donate it to vulnerable segments of the population who are in desperate situation. Organize free of charge events and share knowledge that they have acquired during the time of doing business. Give opportunity for startups to launch a new product or service, provide support for them some way. Support socially responsible projects that are initiated by the government or try to come with an idea that could be a beginning of something big in collaboration with other members of business.

Manufacturing organizations are polluting the natural environment every day because of their operations. It takes years for nature to recover from the damage that is caused by factories all around the world. Business owners must consider actions that need to be taken to full fill the consequence that harms the environment. Invest money in the R&D of modern technology which helps us to work more friendly to nature without pollution. In long term perspective these investments will bring dividends in future.
