The industrial age is in decline, taking traditional fuel sources with it: hard coal mines are shutting down and developing countries are accelerating their renewable energy programs. Experts are sure that now is the time: if a new world without oil and coal came at once, developing economies would lose a large share of budget revenues.

Rapid price reductions are taking place in all areas of the renewable energy industry thanks to large investments in R&D. Thanks to government programs in different countries, there are regions where an alternative method of generating energy is cheaper than traditional approaches. Banks and financial institutions prefer to lend to renewable energy projects instead of exploring traditional natural resources.

If a couple of years ago, green energy was considered a purely fashionable mainstream, then the figures of recent years indicate that this is already a new reality. The power of solar installations around the world is increasing every year. Large solar stations are comparable to the power of a nuclear reactor, but without the threat of disaster and harmful effects on the environment.
