Development of technology is changing every aspect of our lives and we can feel the influence from year to year. Level of development is on the rise and some factories are now fully automated where machines have replaced workers. Sometimes this might look like a scene from a science fiction movie, but it’s a reality where machines are now starting to dominate. This kind of change is happening not only in the factories, software is replacing skilled professionals in the offices. Now days you don’t need to hire operators in the call center, you can install a chat bot which will answer all your incoming calls and communicate with client. Lawyers and doctors are also at the risk to be left without a job. Digital lawyers can check your agreement and point out where you should make changes. There are many advantages that machines have comparing to humans. For example, machines can work in the dark, they don’t need light in the premises as a result you can cut down your utility bills. Software can function 24/7, working process will never stop. Machines don’t need to take vacations and breaks for lunch. This way one machine can replace two or three workers.

Humanity has always been progressing thanks to new technology which made our lives easier. But, there is a dark side of these kind of changes as well. Progress took jobs from people which will increase rate of unemployment in some countries where majority of labor force is in low intellectual jobs. To tackle this situation, government and private sector needs to think where they can find work places. If they don’t solve these issues effectively enough, it may lead to massive disappointments from nations. All these workers who lost their jobs due to progress development are also consumers as well. If consumers don’t have source of capital, it will bring to low purchasing power. Corporate sector is going to suffer, because no one will buy goods and services that they produce. Banks who gave loans to run business will have massive amount of overdue loans, banks are very important for economy in general, they are responsible for financial flows of the country. Collapse of banking sector is a big stress which might have global effect. Financial crises that we had in 2007 – 2008 has shown us how weak we are.

Future professions are going to be different what we had before and what we have now. When our rise of technology will be on the level when it can provide all of our basic needs, humans can pay attention on other areas to grow. Areas such as culture, spiritual enlightenment, different kinds of art, clean energy and artificial intelligence. Future will demand new skills, jobs that requires hard labor is going to be less required. High intellectual skills are going to be on demand. Professions around IT industry, programmers, experts in virtual reality and human communication skills, these are some of areas of knowledge that will person need.
